Are you dressed for success in the Armor of the Lord?-introduction
You and I have an enemy. We did not choose him but he is our enemy. He wants to defeat you, destroy your testimony, steal your inheritance and take others down with you.
But Jesus has a different plan. Remember these words of Jesus? Luke 12:
25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Our Beloved Jesus has prepared armor for you. In this series we will examine the pieces and identify how you can use this armor for overcoming your enemy.
Why you need His armor
– Ephesians 6:
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Philippians2:
2 Corinthians 10:
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Remember these Bible examples of the Lord fighting for His people?
1 Samuel 17:
2 Chronicles 20:

The battle Belongs to the Lord by Jamie Owens-Collins
In heavenly armor we’ll enter the land
The battle belongs to the Lord
No weapon that’s fashioned against us shall stand
The battle belongs to the Lord
Chorus
We sing glory and honor
Power and strength to the Lord
(repeat)
The power of darkness comes in like a flood
The battle belongs to the Lord
He’s raised up a standard, the power of His blood
The battle belongs to the Lord
When your enemy presses in hard do not fear
The battle belongs to the Lord
Take courage my friend, your redemption is near
The battle belongs to the Lord
