Where are you today? What are your circumstances? Some seasons in life are stressful. Some seasons in life are exciting and enjoyable. Where you are today is no mistake. Jesus Christ cares intimately about you. Remember Whose you are!
In all the world over and in all of history, Jesus Christ made only one you. There is none other exactly like you. You have special physical attributes, personality, strengths, limitations, preferences, talents, abilities, and spiritual gifts. There is only one you. You are unique, designed and created especially by Jesus Christ for His good pleasure. Revelation 4:
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Jesus Christ never makes junk. Remember His observation of creation in Genesis 1:
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas: and God saw that it was good.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
31 And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Jesus Christ designed a unique race for you to run, from the moment you receive Him as your Lord and Savior until you cross the finish line into His physical presence and complete His unique purpose for your life. Hebrews 12:
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Facts to hold onto during your journey
1) Jesus Christ created you from His own unique design. There is only one you-Job 33:
4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Psalms 139:
13For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
2) Jesus Christ loves you with an everlasting love-Jeremiah 33:
3The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
there is nothing you need do to make Him love you more
there is nothing you could ever do to make Him stop loving you
3) Jesus Christ has designed a specific plan for your life-Jeremiah 29:
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
4) When you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He re-creates you new
-2 Corinthians 17:
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
James 1:
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
5) Jesus Christ has designed specific tasks for you to accomplish- Ephesians 2:
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
6) Jesus Christ is able to work the situation for good, even when your circumstances hurt.
He is working the situation for your good and working in you to make the situation good.
Romans 8:
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
7) Jesus Christ desires to live all your experiences with you-Matthew 1:23
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Hebrews 13:
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
