Jesus Christ offers you 8 free gifts!-#3
Gift #3 Reconciliation
When you choose to receive the free gift of salvation, you are given automatically at least seven more free gifts. The free gift of salvation is the only one you must choose. All the others are given freely to you when you choose salvation.
Reconciliation = the process of making compatible.
Imagine! Jesus Christ gives you the free gift of reconciliation with your Creator, the One Who designed you; the One Who gave you all your unique characteristics, personality, strengths and limitations. This means you can approach Him, talk to Him, share the moments of your life with Him.
What does it mean to you to be reconciled to God, your Creator?
How does this reconciliation impact your life?
Paul says reconciliation demonstrates His love for you – Romans 5:8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Everyone who chooses not to receive the free gift of salvation will be subjected to God’s wrath. But reconciliation restores the right relationship your Creator intended to have with you. You become a new person with an assignment to tell others about the available reconciliation.
1 Corinthians 5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
You and I are reconciled to God because Jesus Christ made peace for us.
Colossians 1:18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
20And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
21And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
When Jesus Christ finishes His work in you and me we will be unblameable and unreproveable in His sight!
unblameable = Not deserving of fault
unreproveable = Not deserving of criticism or correction
When you consider things you have done wrong, intentionally or unintentionally, how do you feel to be unblameable and unreprovable?
Dearly Beloved,
Run with your eyes on Jesus alone!
Run in faith that Jesus loves you with an everlasting, unconditional love; has uniquely designed and created only one you; has a good plan for your life; runs with you; and will accomplish His purposes for you and through you!
Run in His strength alone!
Run with your eyes on the prize!
Run with your focus on His mission: to conform you to the image of Jesus Christ!
Run with the desire to finish strong!
Run with the desire to finish with your lamp burning!
Run with the expectation of being in His physical presence when you cross your finish line!
Run to His glory alone!
Run and keep on running!
