I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for my sins and rose again from the dead to evidence the removal of my sins and my victory over death.  If I were the only person needing His salvation He would have paid the price for me not because of any worthiness on my part but because of Who He is. I believe He ever lives to make intercession for me. I believe Jesus has given to me His indwelling Holy Spirit as a guide and comforter and an empowerment for service. I believe He is actively freeing me from the pattern and habit of sin and will one day remove me from the very presence of sin. When that day comes I want Him to find me with my lamp burning, pursuing His purpose for me and trusting Him in all things. “Nevertheless, when the Son of Man cometh shall He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8 )

In 1995 after hearing a sermon on faithful Caleb, I asked God to grant me my ministry mountain – a ministry to emotionally hurting people. He marvelously provided that ministry in the form of teaching classes about emotions and how to handle emotions God’s way, facilitating adult support groups and conducting one-on-one Biblical counseling sessions. I have found Him to be faithful and His grace sufficient for me.

But Jesus provides so much more than healing of past wounds and the ability to manage our emotions! Jesus Christ is making all things new. His life, death and resurrection provide for us abundant living.  He has brought me to an understanding of His people’s need for Biblical life coaching on their journey of life — providing a safe place to discuss confidentially one’s confusion in difficult circumstances; uncertainty about God’s direction and how best to pursue God’s unique personal purpose from a Biblical perspective. To God alone be all the glory for what He alone will do!
